Sealed Bids for construction of the following projects will be received by Greencastle-Antrim School District
(Owner) at the Ace Building Conference Room, 360 South Ridge Avenue, Greencastle, PA 17225 until 2:00
p.m., local prevailing time, on Tuesday, September 29, 2026:
1. Alterations and Addition to Greencastle-Antrim High School
2. New Fieldhouse at Greencastle High School
3. Alterations and Addition to Greencastle-Antrim Primary School
Combined bids for the three projects are invited in each of the following separate contract categories:
1. General Construction
2. HVAC Construction
3. Plumbing Construction
4. Electrical Construction
All bids so received will be publicly opened and read immediately afterward. When arriving, all visitors are
required to comply with sign-in and identification procedures.

bidding period, questions regarding the project shall be e-mailed to the attention of Frank Rapisarda at
Complete bidding documents, in PDF electronic copy format only, will be available from the Architect at the
nonrefundable cost of $100.00 per set. Hard copy will not be available from the Architect. Please e-mail
bgoas@eiassoc.com to request the form to order bidding documents. The Architect assumes no responsibility
for information derived from incomplete sets of documents or for issuing addenda to entities who obtain
documents from sources other than the Architect.
Documents will not be available for examination at the Architect's office. Documents may be available at the
following locations: Pennsylvania Builders Exchange, Pittsburgh, PA; Altoona Builders Exchange, Altoona,
PA; Lebanon County Builders Association, Lebanon, PA; Northeastern Pennsylvania Contractors Association
(NEPCA), Pittston, PA; Lehigh Valley Contractor’s Association, Bethlehem, PA; ConstructConnect; and
Dodge Data & Analytics.
A Mandatory Prebid Conference will be held for prospective bidders at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 28,
2026, in the Ace Building Conference Room, 360 South Ridge Avenue, Greencastle, PA 17225, followed by
tours of the project areas. Attendees must properly identify themselves and comply with sign-in procedures at
the main reception desk.
Except as provided by law, bids shall be irrevocable for sixty (60) days after bid opening date, unless award
of contracts is delayed due to required approvals of another governmental agency, sale of bonds, or the
award of a grant or grants. If so delayed, bids shall be irrevocable for one hundred twenty (120) days in
compliance with the Commonwealth Procurement Code.
Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a certified check, a cashier’s check or a bid
bond of an approved Surety Company in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the
bid. Check or bond shall be drawn in favor of Greencastle-Antrim School District.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof and to waive, at his discretion, any or all
irregularities, mistakes, omissions, or informalities relative thereto.
